A qualifying referral is someone you refer who books and pays in full for a full portrait session with IDTPhoto. Mini sessions, partial payments, and deposits alone do not qualify.
What is a premium referral and why does it earn more?
Premium referrals are high-value bookings — weddings, large events, Heirloom Newborn packages ($1,200), or any referred booking totaling $800 or more. These earn you 20% off your next session and 2 points instead of 1, because referring a wedding or large event is a much bigger deal.
How does the points system work?
Every full portrait referral earns 1 point. Premium referrals (weddings, large events, Heirloom newborn, or $800+) earn 2 points. Reach 10 points and you earn a complimentary Golden Package session ($450 value).
How does the discount stacking work?
Standard referrals add 10% off your next session; premium referrals add 20%. Discounts stack up to a maximum of 50% off per session.
What is the Golden Package?
The Golden Package is our signature portrait session valued at $450. It can be redeemed for maternity, newborn, family, or milestone portraits. No substitutions, upgrades, or cash value.
Do I need to be an existing client to refer someone?
No — the referral program is open to everyone. You don't need to have booked a session with us to refer a friend and earn rewards.
Can I combine my referral reward with another discount or promotion?
Referral rewards are non-combinable with other discounts, promotions, or offers. One reward type applies per booking.
Are rewards transferable?
No — referral rewards are non-transferable and apply only to the referring person's account.
Do rewards expire?
Yes. Discounts expire 6 months from the date earned. The complimentary Golden Package session must be redeemed within 12 months of earning. We keep track on our end — just ask when you're ready.
How does my referral let you know who sent them?
They simply mention your name when they contact us — by phone, email, or through the booking form. No codes needed.

- A qualifying referral means the referred client books and pays in full for a full portrait session (mini sessions do not qualify).
- Standard referrals (full portrait sessions) earn 10% off + 1 point. Premium referrals (weddings, large events, Heirloom Newborn, or any booking $800+) earn 20% off + 2 points.
- Discounts stack per qualifying referral, up to a maximum of 50% off.
- The 10-point reward is a Golden Package session ($450 value) — no substitutions, upgrades, or cash value. Redeemable for maternity, newborn, family, or milestone portraits only.
- Rewards are non-transferable and non-combinable with any other discount or promotion.
- Discounts expire 6 months from the date earned. The complimentary session reward expires 12 months from the date earned.
- Self-referrals and referrals from paid promotional partners do not qualify.
- IDTPhoto reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time. Earned rewards will be honored under the terms in effect at the time they were earned.
