Senior Portraits That Look and Feel Like You
Your senior year marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Your portraits should capture more than how you look—they should celebrate your personality, interests, accomplishments, and the person you are becoming.
IDT Photo creates personalized senior portrait experiences in our downtown Aurora studio and at outdoor locations throughout Aurora, Naperville, and the western Chicago suburbs.
This Is More Than a School Picture
Senior portraits are an opportunity to create something personal. Whether you prefer polished studio portraits, relaxed outdoor photographs, an urban setting, a natural landscape, or a combination of styles, we will help you plan a session that feels comfortable and authentic.
We take time to learn what matters to each senior. Clothing, locations, hobbies, sports, musical interests, pets, and meaningful personal items can all become part of the experience.
The result is a varied collection of portraits that celebrates this important moment without forcing the senior into a style that does not feel like their own.
Plan Your Senior Session

A Senior Session Designed Around You
No two seniors are exactly alike, and their portraits should not be either. We can personalize the session around the student's style, comfort level, and vision.
Multiple Looks
Bring different outfits to create a combination of casual, dressy, traditional, and personality-driven portraits.
Studio and Outdoor Options
Choose the controlled, polished look of our downtown Aurora studio, an outdoor location, or ask about combining different settings.
Personal Interests
Sports equipment, musical instruments, books, artwork, uniforms, dance attire, vehicles, and other meaningful items can help tell the senior's story.
Family and Pets
Parents, siblings, or a beloved pet may be included in part of the session when planned in advance.
Guided Posing
Students do not need to know how to pose. We provide clear, natural direction throughout the session while keeping the experience relaxed.
Professional Retouching
Selected portraits receive careful editing and professional retouching while preserving a natural, recognizable appearance.

Senior Portrait Locations in Aurora and Naperville
The right setting helps establish the personality and atmosphere of a senior portrait session. Some students prefer greenery and natural light, while others want architecture, city textures, or a more dramatic studio look.
IDT Photo offers senior photography in our downtown Aurora studio and at locations throughout Aurora, Naperville, Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, Oswego, Montgomery, and nearby communities.
We can help families select a location based on the student's preferred style, the season, travel distance, lighting, and any photography permit requirements. If a location requires a permit or photography fee, we will discuss that during the planning process.
Make the Session Meaningful
The strongest senior portraits contain details that are personally significant. Consider incorporating one or more of the following:
- →A varsity jacket, uniform, jersey, or sports equipment
- →A musical instrument
- →Dance, theater, or performance attire
- →Artwork, books, or creative projects
- →A favorite car or truck
- →A family pet
- →College clothing or acceptance memorabilia
- →Cultural clothing or family traditions
- →A cap and gown
- →An activity or location connected to the student's high school experience
These elements are always optional. A simple session focused entirely on the senior can be equally powerful.
Portraits for Today—and for the Years Ahead
For parents, senior year often arrives much faster than expected. These portraits preserve the person your child is at this remarkable point between childhood and adulthood.
We create images that seniors will be excited to share and that families will be proud to display. Depending on the collection selected, families may choose digital portraits and professionally produced artwork for their home.
